CLARENCE AND DOUG DEVEAUX - FATHER & SON
C.C.M.R. is pleased to present two generations of one family singing traditional country tunes on this years show.

Clarence, the Father of Doug, was born and raised in Cape Breton and started to play music at a very early age. He has had the pleasure of playing with some of Canada’s finest fiddler’s, such as; Buddy MacMaster and Winston Scotty Fitzgerald.

He came to Ontario in 1963 and continued his music career, playing lead guitar and vocals. He played with Smiley Bates for several years and had the privilege of playing lead guitar on several of his albums. Clarence has had the opportunity to play with many local artists throughout the years.

Recently he had the pleasure of performing at Johnny Burke’s Loft, in Newcastle. (note: Johnny has now moved his theatre shows to Haliburton, ON)
