Singer, Song writer, Musician, and Promoter.
Paul was born in Storytown New Brunswick July, 30 1956 and started his musical career when he was 12 years old. He sang on jamborees and barn dances and his first professional job was with a group called The Billy French and Shirley Fields Show, a well know Canadian group (1970’s).
Since then Paul has featured his own TV show in Southern Ontario called “In Tune” and appeared on the well known Opry North Show. He has been featured with the late Marg Osborne (Don Messer Show); Dianne Lee and The Shades of Blue; Harold McIntye; Johnny Burke and East Wind and with Larry Dee and Dottie. Paul toured in the Mid 80’s with the Burnt River Band. This band also appeared on breakfast television twice.
Paul released his first single in 1978, through the (CTP), Canadian Talent Promotions, Canadian Whistler Gorden Murry Lapier ( The Canadian Whistler), Timmins Ontario. This song (produced by Larry Dee) was charted across Canada.
Paul closed for the CCMR last year in Trenton and will be featured there this year as well. Paul is performing at the Hastings jamboree in June. Paul hosts the Annual Musicians Cornroast, in memory of Larry Dee, in cooperation with Blackstock and Port Perry Lions Clubs. It is held the second Sunday of August each year. Paul is still stays active in Country Music today. He keeps busy, first and foremost, organizing the Musicians Cornroast and secondly he is currently working with the Newfie Chicks, Josie and Lori.
